Best Western Burlington Inn
770 Huffman Mill Rd, Burlington, Alamance,
My recent, two day/evening stay at the Burlington Best Western was very satisfactory and I have no real complaints. However, it is a bit difficult to enter, and exit from the motel grounds which are on a very heavily travelled road and getting back into traffic can be a bit tricky. Nonetheless, I was very pleased with the facilities, cleaniness, and service. No complaints at all and would recommend it to others.

The outside and lobby of the hotel was great! Customer Services @ checkin was great. In the Am I do exercises and it required me to be on the floor. As I began to to so, I seen a raisin under the cabinet beside the fridge. Also, a 1/3 full bottle of water in the fridge. To top it off, when I got into the shower to get ready, the wash cloth smelled like mildew. Maybe from not beening dried all the way and still placed out for the guests. Hairs on the shower walls. Spoke with the manager about this @ time of check out. He called for the maid to hold the linens and he was going to smell and see if he "smelled" anything. Was not happy with the way that he handled the comment and concerns that I had. The breakfast did have a nice set up. Hopefully, the housecleaning can get more detailed and make sure that all area's are spotless. Would not be on the top of my list to let others know that it was a 5 star. I did expect more for the price and name.

We have been staying here for about 6 years now - our daughter went to college and now lives in the area. For all of that time there has never been a problem with this hotel - always a comfortable room at a reasonable price. Although the restaurant is only open for breakfast - that breakfast is exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive and the omelets are to die for. If I lived in this area, I would come here for breakfast. The entire staff reflects that same attentiveness, always greeting the guests with a good morning or a hello. The pool is nice and clean and the indoor hot tub is also a great feature. When traveling in the Burlington, NC area - this is the place the stay. I like all Courtyards but this is the very best of the brand.
